Screw Driven Modules, also known as electric modules, single axis robotic arms, or linear slides, are important foundational components in the field of automation.
Screw Driven Module is mainly composed of a motor, ball screw or trapezoidal screw, nut, linear guide, support seat and other components. The motor drives the screw to rotate, and the rotating motion is converted into linear motion through the nut, thereby achieving precise linear positioning and motion of the load.
Screw Driven Modules have many advantages. Its repeated positioning accuracy is high, usually up to ± 0.01mm, and some high-precision products have even higher accuracy. At the same time, it has a high load capacity, for example, some large ball screw drive modules can have a maximum load of several hundred kilograms. In terms of speed, it runs faster, such as Bosch Rexroth's SMS series screw driven linear module, which can reach a maximum speed of 1.92m/s. In addition, the module also has the characteristics of compact structure, good rigidity, low noise, and can be modularized and combined according to different application needs to achieve multi axis linkage control.
Application field of Screw Driven Modules is very wide. In the electronic manufacturing industry, it can be used for processes such as handling, dispensing, and soldering of semiconductor chips; In the field of CNC machine tools, it can serve as a feed mechanism for workbenches to achieve precise cutting and machining; In the field of robotics, it can be used for linear motion control of robot arms, improving the operational accuracy and stability of robots; In automated packaging equipment, it can be used for material conveying, sorting, and packaging operations.
