Rodless Linear Actuator is a linear transmission device that eliminates the traditional piston rod structure and achieves linear motion of the slider along the guide rail through a built-in transmission mechanism.
A rodless linear actuator is a linear motion device without an exposed piston rod, which drives the slider along a guide rail through an internal mechanical structure (such as a belt, screw, or magnetic coupling) to achieve push-pull or positioning functions. Compared to traditional "rod cylinders" or "electric push rods", structure of Rodless Linear Actuator is more compact and suitable for applications with long stroke and limited space.
The feature of Rodless Linear Actuator is that power transmission and load drive are integrated into a closed guide rail, and the slider is directly connected to the transmission components (such as the piston of a rodless cylinder, the nut of a synchronous belt or ball screw) without exposing the piston rod.
Structurally, Rodless Linear Actuator usually includes enclosed guide rails (load-bearing and guiding), built-in transmission systems (such as pneumatic and electric drives), sliding platforms (connecting loads), and dust-proof sealing components. Compared to rod drivers, Rodless Linear Actuator can significantly shorten the overall length under the same stroke, save installation space, and avoid pollution risks and motion interference problems caused by exposed piston rods.
