Moisture Resistance Linear Stages, also known as moisture-proof linear modules, is a linear motion device designed for humid environments. Its core function is to resist the erosion of water vapor, condensed water, and high humidity environments through material selection and structural design, while maintaining high-precision linear motion capabilities. The focus of its protection is to prevent component rust, electrical short circuits, or reduced transmission accuracy caused by moisture infiltration. Moisture Resistance Linear Stages are suitable for scenarios with high humidity but no direct liquid impact (such as environments with relative humidity>85%), and the protection level usually reaches IP64 (anti splash water) or higher, with dual dust and moisture resistance.
Technical core of Moisture Resistance Linear Stages is the synergistic effect of blocking the path of moisture intrusion and enhancing the corrosion resistance of components:
1). Sealing protection mechanism:
Fill the shell joints with elastic sealing strips (such as EPDM rubber) to form the first physical barrier, preventing moisture from entering the module through the gaps. Adopting a breathing valve design to balance internal and external air pressure, avoiding condensation caused by temperature changes (such as "condensation" caused by temperature differences), and preventing external moisture from being sucked in with the airflow.
2). Moisture resistance characteristics of materials:
The transmission components (such as ball screws and guide rails) are made of stainless steel (such as 304/316L) or nickel phosphorus alloy on the surface to reduce the corrosion rate of water vapor on the metal. The synchronous belt is made of water-resistant polyurethane material to prevent the belt from hardening or breaking due to long-term humid environment.
3). Electrical moisture-proof design:
The motor and encoder interface are equipped with waterproof connectors (such as M12 aviation plugs), and the internal circuit board is sprayed with three anti paints (moisture-proof, anti mold, anti salt spray) to prevent moisture from causing short circuits.
Moisture Resistance Linear Stages consist of three core modules:
1). Moisture proof shell:
Material: Aluminum alloy (surface anodized) or stainless steel, the shell adopts seamless integrated die-casting process without rivets to reduce exposed gaps;
Sealing design: The edge is equipped with U-shaped sealing grooves, embedded with customized rubber sealing strips, and key parts (such as outlet ports) use spiral waterproof gland heads.
2). Transmission system:
Ball screw type: stainless steel screw with self-lubricating sealed bearings, nut with built-in dust lip to prevent moisture from entering the raceway;
Synchronous belt type: The pulley is treated with aluminum alloy hard anodizing, and the synchronous belt is embedded with a glass fiber reinforcement layer to enhance its tensile and hydrolysis resistance.
3). Auxiliary protective components:
Moisture absorption module: Internally installed with silicone desiccant or humidity indicator card, real-time absorption of trace water vapor and warning;
Diversion structure: Drainage holes are designed at the bottom of the shell to guide the discharge of accidentally infiltrated liquids and avoid water accumulation.

1). Food and pharmaceutical industry:
