1. Is the response speed of the hollow rotating platform related to the type of motor?
      Yes. Servo motors provide the fastest response due to high torque-to-inertia ratio. Stepper motors respond slower and risk missing steps. Induction motors have sluggish response. 2. How much impact does high-speed start stop have on the transmission mechanism?
     High-speed start-stop causes significant impact. It generates shock loads that accelerate bearing and gear wear. Repeated cycles create fatigue cracks, increase backlash, and may damage cam profiles. The transmission mechanism loses precision over time. Use soft-start acceleration ramps and reduce load inertia to minimize this damage.

 

3. How to calculate the maximum allowable speed of a hollow rotating platform?
    Use this formula: max speed (rpm) = (safe peripheral speed of bearing rollers × 1000) / (π × bearing pitch diameter in mm). Safe peripheral speed typically ranges 500–1500 m/min for crossed roller bearings. Also check the manufacturer's input shaft speed limit. Derate the speed for heavy loads or poor lubrication.

 

4. What is the accuracy of speed regulation?
