Large Aperture Rotary Tables are precision rotary positioning devices with a large central through-hole, mainly used in industrial scenarios that require the passage of large-sized workpieces, cables, pipelines, or optical paths. Its core feature is to provide a central aperture (usually ≥ 100mm) far beyond that of ordinary hollow rotating platforms while ensuring high-precision rotational positioning, thus solving the needs of rotating processing, inspection, assembly, and other large or long workpieces.
Large Aperture Rotary Tables are specially designed rotating platforms with a core feature of having a large central through-hole (even up to 1 meter or more), suitable for applications that require installation of large-sized workpieces, internal wiring, or optical transmission. This type of rotary table plays an important role in precision manufacturing, optical inspection, aerospace, and scientific research equipment.
The design of Large Aperture Rotary Tables needs to balance the contradiction between "large aperture", "high precision", and "high load", therefore it has the following key characteristics:

Large central through-hole |
1).Aperture range: usually 100mm~1000mm, some customized models can be larger, much larger than ordinary hollow rotating platforms (conventional apertures are mostly 20mm~80mm). 2).Purpose of through-hole: Allow long workpieces (such as shafts and rods), laser light paths, cable bundles, air pipes, coolant pipelines, etc. to pass through, avoiding mechanical interference. |

High precision positioning performance |
1).Repetitive positioning accuracy: generally up to ± 0.01mm~± 0.005mm, angle positioning accuracy ≤ 10 arc seconds (some high-end models ≤ 5 arc seconds). 2).Low Backlash: ≤ 1 arc minute (0.0167 °), ensuring no jamming or positioning deviation during reverse rotation. |

High load and rigidity |
1).Axial load: can withstand weights ranging from hundreds of kilograms to several tons (such as 500kg~5000kg), suitable for large workpieces. 2).Radial load: Designed for cantilever or eccentric workpieces, it has strong resistance to overturning moment (such as ≥ 1000N • m). 3).Structural rigidity: Made of high-strength cast iron or aluminum alloy casting, paired with precision cross roller bearings to reduce deformation and vibration during rotation. |

Drive and Control |
1).Drive mode: It often uses a combination of servo motors and precision planetary reducers, supporting low-speed smooth rotation and high-speed indexing (the speed range is usually 0.1rpm~300rpm). 2).Feedback system: equipped with high-precision grating encoder or absolute value encoder, real-time monitoring of rotation angle, achieving closed-loop control. |
