RV Planetary Cycloidal Reducer

RV Planetary Cycloidal Reducer is a composite precision reducer that combines the dual structure of planetary gear transmission and cycloidal pinwheel transmission to achieve the functions of deceleration and torque transmission. Belonging to the technical branch of Rotary Vector Reducers,Its core feature is that the planetary gear stage (first stage reduction) provides high-efficiency transmission,while Cycloid pinwheel stage (second stage deceleration) achieves high-precision and high rigidity output.

RV Planetary Cycloidal Reducer structure is mainly composed of a sun gear, planetary gears, ring gears, eccentric crankshaft, cycloid gear, needle gear housing, and output disc.

The first stage of RV Planetary Cycloidal Reducers is connected to the sun gear by a motor shaft, which drives 2 to 3 planetary gears to roll within a fixed gear ring, achieving a primary reduction of 3 to 10 times. Then, the crankshaft on the planetary gear converts the rotational motion into eccentric motion, driving the second stage cycloidal gear to mesh with the needle gear housing. After each revolution of the cycloidal gear, it only rotates "one tooth pitch" relative to the needle gear housing, thereby achieving a secondary deceleration of 30 to 260 times, ultimately outputting low speed and high torque.
