Linear Guide with Belt consists of three main parts: the drive system, belt transmission components, and linear guide body. Firstly, it has excellent speed performance, with no self-locking restrictions allowing its line speed to reach 5m/s or more, meeting the requirements of high-speed sorting, rapid assembly and other scenarios; Secondly, the operation noise is low, and the smooth transmission of the synchronous belt reduces the noise by 10-15 dB compared to gear transmission, which is suitable for industries with high noise requirements such as medical and electronics; Thirdly, it has good cost economy, simple structure, fewer components, and reduces the cost by 30% -50% compared to screw transmission. It is also easy to maintain and does not require frequent lubrication; Fourthly, it has strong adaptability to long-distance travel, with a single belt capable of achieving several meters of ultra long travel, breaking through the length limitations of traditional transmission; The fifth is lightweight design, suitable for high-speed applications with light loads below 50kg.
However, Linear Guide with Belt also has limitations, such as insufficient heavy load capacity, making it difficult to cope with loads exceeding 100kg; The elastic deformation of the belt will result in a positioning error of ± 0.1mm, and a feedback system is required for precision scenarios; Long term high-speed operation can easily cause belt wear.
