Linear Screw Actuator

Linear Screw Actuator is an electromechanical device that converts rotational motion into linear motion through a screw pair. Its core lies in using the spiral structure of the screw to achieve precise displacement control. A complete set of electric screw actuators usually consists of a drive motor (servo, stepper, or AC motor), screw pair (sliding or ball), housing, guide mechanism (to prevent nut rotation), and limit switch.

It has a sturdy structure and reliable principle, and is a classic technology for achieving heavy load and self-locking linear motion. Linear Screw Actuator core working principle is based on the ancient "inclined plane principle" (i.e. screw principle). When the driving source (usually a motor) drives the screw to rotate, the nut engaged with the screw cannot rotate due to mechanical constraints, and is forced to produce linear displacement along the axis direction of the screw.

Linear Screw Actuator is widely used in automation and mechanical transmission scenarios that require linear motion. According to different transmission methods, they are mainly divided into ball screw actuators (rolling friction) and sliding screw actuators (sliding friction), each with advantages in accuracy, efficiency, and load capacity
