XY Gantry Linear Slide is mainly composed of crossbeams, columns, linear guides, sliders, transmission mechanisms, and control systems. The crossbeam is horizontally laid along the Y-axis direction, and the two ends are vertically supported by columns to form a gantry frame; The slider is installed on the linear guide rails of the crossbeam and column, and can slide along the X-axis and Y-axis directions respectively. Common transmission methods include ball screws and synchronous belts: ball screws convert rotational motion into high-precision linear displacement through the spiral transmission of nuts and screws, with a positioning accuracy of ± 0.01mm; synchronous belts use the meshing of teeth and pulleys to achieve high-speed motion of up to 5m/s. The servo motor serves as a power source and drives the transmission mechanism through a coupling, driving the end effectors (such as suction nozzles, cutting heads, and detection probes) installed on the slider to complete point-to-point movement or trajectory movement in the plane. The control system is based on PLC or motion controller, combined with encoder real-time feedback position information to ensure motion accuracy.
